Welcome to LocalCabs.in. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our website and cab booking services.
By accessing this website or booking a vehicle through us (via phone, WhatsApp, or online), we assume you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use LocalCabs.in's services if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.
1. Booking & Confirmation
- All bookings connect passengers directly with verified local drivers and are subject to vehicle availability at the time of confirmation.
- A booking is only considered confirmed once you receive a confirmation message from our official WhatsApp desk or phone.
- While we do our best to provide the exact vehicle model requested (e.g., Swift Dzire, Innova Crysta), we reserve the right to provide an equivalent or upgraded vehicle in case of unforeseen circumstances.
2. Fares & Payments
- The fares displayed on the website are direct local driver quotes without aggregator commission markups.
- One-Way Fares: Fares are for one-way point-to-point drops unless round-trip is booked.
- Additional Charges: Toll taxes, state border taxes, parking fees, and entry fees are quoted upfront or paid as per itinerary.
- Night Charges: A driver night allowance (typically ₹200 to ₹300) applies for journeys driven between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
- Driver Allowance (Batta): For outstation round trips extending overnight, a daily driver allowance is applicable.
3. Cancellation & Modification Policy
- Free Cancellation: You may cancel your booking without penalty if cancelled at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time.
- Late Cancellation: Cancellations made within 2 hours of pickup may incur a fee to compensate the assigned local driver.
- Modifications: Changes to pickup time or route destination are subject to availability.
4. Passenger Responsibilities
- Passengers must carry valid government-issued photo identification during outstation travel.
- We strictly prohibit the consumption of alcohol, smoking, or carrying illegal substances inside the vehicle. Drivers reserve the right to terminate rides immediately if violated.
- Passengers are responsible for their luggage. LocalCabs.in is not liable for lost belongings left inside vehicles.
- Any damage caused to the vehicle interior due to passenger negligence will incur a cleaning/repair charge.
5. Service Disruptions & Delays
- We strive to ensure drivers arrive on time. However, LocalCabs.in will not be held responsible for delays caused by factors beyond control, including severe weather, traffic jams, road closures, or breakdowns.
- In the rare event of a vehicle breakdown mid-journey, local backup arrangements will be dispatched immediately.
6. Liability
LocalCabs.in's total liability for any claim arising out of vehicle bookings is strictly limited to the total fare paid by the customer for that specific booking.
